How to build your emergency first aid kit

Creating an emergency first aid kit means determining what supplies you should have in your kit. First aid supplies can be found at various stores – there is no need to head to a special medical supply store. Determining what supplies should go into your first aid kit depends on who might be using the kit.

Bandages

Bandages are an essential part of any first aid kit. Bandages cover wounds and help stop the flow of blood. Bandages come in a variety of sizes to meet the needs of all cuts. Having some medical tape on hand can make sure that bandages stick to the skin around the wound and cover the wound completely.

Disinfectant

Disinfectant is an emergency essential. In order to prevent infection of a wound, disinfectant needs to be applied. The sooner the disinfectant can be applied, the less chance infection has to set in. First aid supplies for people of all ages needs to include disinfectant.

Medication

One item that is often over looked when planning for Emergency Essentials is medication. An Epi-Pen and anti-histamines are needed if there is someone who might have an allergic reaction. If someone has a seizure disorder, then anti-seizure medication needs to be in the first aid kit. Do not forget the emergency medication that is needed for anyone in your family.

Other supplies

There are other supplies that can be in First Aid Kits. If you are a family that is often hiking, then a splint might be a good idea to have in the first aid kit. If your family often finds themselves on paths where others are not – like in the woods – then a blanket should also be included. A blanket can keep an injured person warm and prevent shock.

  2. Hello,

I’m working on cleaning the website , and I need your help in removing some links from your site. Your site is probably perfectly legitimate, but I’m just trying to eliminate as many links as possible.

I’m asking this because it’s come to our attention that some of the links to our website have been acquired against Google’s Webmaster Guidelines, so it’s important for us to remove links that are harming traffic to our website. Furthermore, by linking to our site, it could be detrimental to your site’s overall traffic, so it will be important for you to remove the link.

    Here are some examples:

The link need to be actually removed, rather than just disavowed. Even if they are “nofollow,” I’d still like them removed.

Please let me know if you have any questions. If you could email me once you have removed the link that would be great.

Thanks in advance! I hope to hear from you soon.

    Kind Regards
    Paul
